[The doors in the lobby of the DR swing open, letting in a blast of somehow ominous-seeming wind, and a new Malik and Ryou stride in, each in clothing that somewhat differs from the norm for their respective species

[He might not be familiar with the modern underground but he not only spies items, but also spies a Bakurae in a horrendously complicated outfit which makes him 'wait what' a bit.
p-proposed order blue->white->bloom?stillundrgroundNovember 4 2010, 00:07:52 UTC
[The Malik with the item doesn't notice Bloom at first, preoccupied by frowning into his cell phone. He holds it to his ear, then takes it away, brows quirking slightly.]
Out of range? Useless. [He pockets the phone.
Only then does he see Bloom watching them; if he's surprised by the other man's appearance he doesn't let it show.]
Ah, you. Have you seen a public phone around here?
[Red is still recovering from being a lanky shark-cat-monster-guy for a week when he stumbles into the lobby and sees...
...
What.
He doesn't recognize either of them dropping out of highschool made him woefully ignorant of the DM era before his, though Ryou reminds him a bit of that weird quiet guy Kaiser introduced him to but he does recognize that jacket. That suit. That suitcase. That... okay, he has no idea what the Rod is.
He assumes some sort of gold-dipped accessory, bought with funds drawn entirely from the suffering of his heel. Hell, all of his gold - there seems like a lot of it. Malik was obviously some kind of high roller
( ... )
[The high roller just bought a new-for-his-time cell phone and it's not cooperating. He snaps it shut with a sniff, then turns to survey the lobby, in search of somewhere else to phone from.
The survey does lead him to notice Red; he meets his eyes a bit quizzically at the reaction. He - and his nametag declares his nickname to be "Blue Moon", though he hasn't noticed it yet - is used to (and kind of enjoys) being stared at, but not when the person looks quite like that.]
--You there. Do we - know each other from somewhere?
[His professional smile only seems innocent. If the boy knows of him, maybe he can be of assistance somehow during this annoying setback.]
[While Red has stumbled in, Hell Kaiser Ryou had wandered back to call back the chauffeur only to find the door they went through opened to a hotel room, and not the street. In fact, none of the nearby doors did.
...That wasn't normal.
Once he returns, he notices Red but doesn't really spare him much more than a glance. Surprisingly casually,] The street's gone.

[Well, then, have someone who's just as lost as they are.
As should have been stated in his profile already, His outfit seems to consist entirely of leather, skin-tight fabric, and...snakeskin. That's new. Gaps around his neck and upper arms reveal punctures in the skin that look almost like snakebite wounds. He's also carrying one of those familiar suitcases.]
:3 blue -> white -> orochi?stillundrgroundNovember 4 2010, 00:37:11 UTC
[He notices the suitcase before he notices the person holding it, sliding his out-of-range phone back into his coat pocket. Interesting.]
It seems we're not the only ones who've been misdirected. Where's your promoter, boy?
[He doesn't recognize this one, though. Weren't they supposed to fight - Whatever's going on, he doesn't like it.
He flicks his eyes to his own leather-clad companion, in part to draw the newcomer's attention to him and in part just to see if the boy's getting a move on like he'd been ordered.]
[And he was about to go to follow orders but oh look another duelist. Given that it's an opportunity to ignore Malik, he's going to be looking over his potential opponent instead.
...And fixating on the punctures. Ryou hasn't seen anyone with a modified collar before, but he's heard of them, so he's assuming that's what that is.

Without noticing Bloom, he turns to leave and mumbles something grudgingly under his breath.] Yes, sir.

[It would help if Bloom even knew what a phone was.
..he does have to wonder why someone is taking order from a marlik.]

Haven't seen him since I got here.
[And then he spots White, and grins mockingly, about to make some witty remark--
but wait, that outfit looks awfully familiar.]
