[The doors in the lobby of the DR swing open, letting in a blast of somehow ominous-seeming wind, and a new Malik and Ryou stride in, each in clothing that somewhat differs from the norm for their respective species

[He might not be familiar with the modern underground but he not only spies items, but also spies a Bakurae in a horrendously complicated outfit which makes him 'wait what' a bit.
p-proposed order blue->white->bloom?stillundrgroundNovember 4 2010, 00:07:52 UTC
[The Malik with the item doesn't notice Bloom at first, preoccupied by frowning into his cell phone. He holds it to his ear, then takes it away, brows quirking slightly.]
Out of range? Useless. [He pockets the phone.
Only then does he see Bloom watching them; if he's surprised by the other man's appearance he doesn't let it show.]
Ah, you. Have you seen a public phone around here?
[Well, isn't he helpful. What can one expect from someone dressed like that, though, really. Is he watching them? Blue doesn't like that. The sooner they're out of here the better.]
Well then, I apologize for disturbing you.
Ryou, has he driven off?
[Normally he isn't this impatient, but things not going according to plan rather irritates him. He starts tapping the Rod against his arm unconsciously. Waste the time finding a phone or invent an excuse upon arrival. Hm. Well, anything to get away from this place. Bloom's making him uneasy.]
[The Rod freezes in mid-tap, and Blue looks back at Bloom, unfolding his arms in case the use of said Item becomes necessary. He has - other methods he'd prefer to use for getting information out of people first, however.
With a look back at White, he jerks his head slightly towards Bloom. His 'employee' isn't the world's most fearsome-looking companion at present despite the coat, but at least there's two of them and only one of this uncanny stranger.]
Now that's a strange thing to say. The door's right there.
[And no matter what happened out there, without a car waiting he has to venture further into this hotel to find a phone before he can head back out...but there's something wrong about this whole situation.]
Explain yourself. Fully, but quickly. We're both - [Another nod to White, whose backup he's just. Assuming will follow] - tardy for an important engagement.
[He stiffens - mildly at first, then much more noticeably when the stranger knows his name. There's hardly anything incognito about Blue, but still. And White's contribution doesn't make him feel any better.]
A fascinating story. What a pity it isn't also helpful.
[Apparently he has such faith in his employee that he.....heads outside himself to confirm the situation, pointing the Rod at Bloom as he backs to the door.]
[From outside they may hear Blue cursing faintly, misjudging how well the sound will carry. He's not coming in just yet, though, trying to get a handle on where they are by looking up at the DR, etc. (Plus he wants to be better in control of himself in public.)]
[[i-i have work all day so if you both want to continue feel free~ we can just say blue's inspecting the building etc]]
He just, watches them for the moment.]

Without noticing Bloom, he turns to leave and mumbles something grudgingly under his breath.] Yes, sir.

[It would help if Bloom even knew what a phone was.
..he does have to wonder why someone is taking order from a marlik.]

But Blue interrupts his train of thought.] ...You could say that.

Idly,] He's probably right. The door we went through didn't lead to the same place.

Ryou, watch him. We're not done talking.

But White saw enough to figure this place isn't, uh, normal.] What... did you mean by that.
[White's voice is just a little too apathetic by default to sound like a true question.]

This building takes people from their worlds and keeps them for as long as it pleases.

[To say the least.]
You talk as if it's alive.
[A little timidly,] ...Do I know you from somewhere?
