apparently i was dehydrated. they pumped me full of fluids and recommended that i get an air conditioner. probably a good idea

These 3 guys in plain clothes came up to me at the munich train station, claiming to be cops, demanded to see my passport. They showed some badge, a gun, and handcuffs. They searched some items in my bag (only books) and didn't see my passport. They saw my driver's license but it doesn't have my SSN or my current address. I guess they're identity ( Read more... )

it makes me happy that pirates are in the news once again after a 300 year hiatus. who would have thought? it doesn't really make sense though... how can a fleet of pirates stand up to any modern navy? it's not like sneak attacks are possible in the ocean.
