cops
These 3 guys in plain clothes came up to me at the munich train station, claiming to be cops, demanded to see my passport. They showed some badge, a gun, and handcuffs. They searched some items in my bag (only books) and didn't see my passport. They saw my driver's license but it doesn't have my SSN or my current address. I guess they're identity thieves posing as cops but maybe they're just jerks. I reported the incident to some uniformed officers and they seemed to think that they were real cops, but i guess i should do the normal identity theft precautions just in case.
The incident seemed too suspicious to be just some asshole cops but i don't know munich that well. I asked some standers by for help 'hilfe bitte' but they just walked away. I asked to see a uniformed person and they showed me some guy from the janitor staff. I can't imagine real cops pulling that shit. I'm also disappointed that people in munich walk away from a person asking for help. I hope i don't do that to another person
