Awesome. You nailed the HIMYM characters so well. Brilliantly done.

Thanks very much! :D This was my first go writing them, and sitcom dialogue is HAARRRD. I was really worried they were going to sound too English.

You. You.

You are both sneaky and amazing. I love your HIMYM characterization - the commentary that starts up mid-battle is perfect. I love that Lily's more practical than the boys - they see someone get hurt, they gush over superpowers. She sees someone get hurt, she calls 911. Robin's skepticism is fantastic, even when she finally gives up when faced with flight.

And Barney! Oh man, Barney being in UNIT or a part of the Company is fantastic, and I love his sneaky way of keeping his friends safe/away from his job.

All in all: ♥♥♥!

And now I have to look back at my prompts and figure out how you intended to do an eight-way cross.

Woah! Now I really want you to finish writing that one day! It sounds amazing!

You already know how much I love this. :) I think it's brilliant that you included at least one of them as a sceptic. Actually, I love that everyone had a completely in-character role to play: Robin the sceptic, Ted and Marshall as the fanboys, Barney as half horndog half secret spy. But my favorite was Lily suddenly interrupting the boys' geek-fest with her, "Someone is seriously hurt and this isn't funny". It sort of brings it down to reality again. As did the moment when it seemed like Peter and Nathan had flown to their deaths.

This was way too much fun and such an original way to do the crossover! I mean, not a single Heroes character had a line, but because I know the scene so well, they were just as real.

Thanks! :D I was kinda relying on people knowing the Kirby Plaza scene well when they read it... which in hindsight is bad for people who might try reading it as a way of getting into the fandom (although, less spoilers, I guess?) but for people who knew the scene well, just writing it all out again seemed like a waste of time.

I'd really like to finish it some time - certain bits, like revisiting the Pineapple Incident and the Doctor having a conversation with River, I was really looking forward to. OH WELL.

Dude...that was so freaking cool.

I love the way the boys kept saying things in unison and Robin was all skeptical and she didn't bring her gun cause it's in her other purse. And Barney as a member UNIT. OMG. See I'm not even making sense because I'm too busy flailing. Ooh and Lily! This is made of so much win:
“I teach kindergarten, I know when a kid’s faking pain, and he’s got the genuine flaily hand motions - that guy just hit him for REAL! We’ve gotta---”

It's been awhile since I watched that episode of Heroes, but the idea the gang watching it is so inspired and absolutely hilarious. Amazing job.
