I know bugger all about How I Met Your Mother (I love NPH, but if I add another show to my TV roster, I won't be able to sleep), but this was a rather awesome fic. Even if I didn't know who everyone was in the cab, I loved the nerd/not nerd banter about superheros and superpowers, as well as the "man on the street" reaction to the Kirby Plaza fights. That Barney popped in at the last moment to grab Sylar was hilarious!

i love this so much i can't even DESCRIBE. HIMYM crossovers are WIN and you NAILED this like a...well, i was going to make a joke there that might not've been appropriate. ahem. needless to say, very very nailed.

“No way, the guy can fly,” said Ted, shaking his head and still staring transfixed out the window. “I’m voting for him EVERY TIME now.” - i LOVED this. and i loved Ted & Marshall & Barney with the superpowers talking in unison and i loved Marshall's original idea of Godzilla, because you even had the Lily/Marshall "baby" thing! AHHH. this is SO FLIPPING PERFECT.

and...RANJIT! i LOVE Ranjit! then again, how can you love HIMYM and NOT heart Ranjit? it's against The Way Of Things...
