The student that I went into the city with visited me today, which was both a relief and a burden. That was refreshing. So outrageously refreshing. And I got to see new faces, meet new people! That's what I was ultimately hoping for when I left those notes, saying I'd be down in the lake today. I took a break from unpacking to go exploring in the surrounding woodlands and a little around the lake. It's beautiful, with mature trees, and smelled, for the most part, clean.
