I am in a small Norwegian town seven hours' bus and ferry ride north of Oslo, making biscuits. This is not someplace I ever thought I would be. -

I think things are going well here. It's finally properly autumn, and I feel like my overheated emotions are cooling down with the weather. I'm home again. (Though "home" now is complicated--there's a pull in the back of my head calling me back to Hyde Park, to circle in over Chicago and land lightly on the ninth-floor windowsill.) It's been a long summer, and it's strange to be back, but I suppose I could ( talk about the internship. ) -
