I couldn't think of a better title.
I was talking to my coworker Tim tonight. For those who don't know, Tim is my favorite coworker. He's old(er) and salty, and believes honesty is the best policy. He also has this thing about actually earning his paycheck.

Character Archetypes
In every show - anime or otherwise - there are archetypes, certain guidelines (thank you Barbossa) that characters tend to follow. Ofttimes, traits are exaggerated, because your Average Viewer isn't interested in subtlety, and because it makes writers' lives easier. Comfort Zone

Let's face it - in any fandom, you have debates, complete with nerdrage and Godwin's law. (Wiki it if you don't know what that is.) ALL of them. Why this character did that, what it means, who really did it, how long they've done it, etc. You have shippers. You have tributes. You have fanfics. I should feel bad, but I don't
Don't get me wrong - I would feel bad, except all my friends have told me they don't feel bad about putting me through the wringer. Oh, and that's it's my fault.
