Yes, times are tough, BUT, you can get a box of holiday cards pretty cheap these days. It ends up costing you about 20-30 cents per card. It costs 42 cents to mail it. It takes 30 seconds to scribble your name in the card, address it, seal it, stamp it and walk it out to the mail box. Anyone who

I know receiving cards/letters brightens a lot of people's days, even though they might not send them back, and isn't giving what the holiday season is about?
I completely understand why you feel annoyed though.
