We took Tess to see the Brad Paisley concert last night.  Chuck Willis (sp?) the "Stealing Cinderella" guy opened, then Rodney Atkins, who was a VERY entertaining good ol' boy and finally Brad Paisley.  Man can that guy play a guitar.  Brad certainly must have some Chet Atkins blood - jeez, is he talented.

I set up our new alarm clock - it has the most GINORMOUS NUMBERS that I have ever seen.  Even with my awful vision I can actually see it without my glasses.  We laughed that there was a neon glow to the bedroom.  Fortunately I found one of the 4 thousand knobs that adjusted the "glow".  It has a weather band amd regular clock functions, but why I ( Read more... )

I forgot to mention how friggin' COLD it's been here.  jeepers.  This morning it was below zero and I think we're expecting a balmy high in the teens today.

I can't remember a winter when our roads were this bad for this long.  Today the wind has kicked up so the already snow-packed slick roads will be polished to a nice ice rink quality.

I drove Tess in to the surgical center this morning at 0600.  Things went fine with no abnormalities noted - it took longer to check in than for the procedure.  It took me  a while to find a GYN that would consider sedation for Tess.   However I think ALL women should have the option of sedation for a thorough pelvic exam.    Why traumatize her, or ( Read more... )
