The flesh-eating horror seems to be retreating a little in the face of the chemical onslaught, although I'm still leaking copious amounts of icky stuff. The site seems to be trying to clean itself out now, though, and once it's finished I should be able to assess just how badly it's been abscessed. So here I am watching Without A Trace, which is doing the second part of a two-part crossover with CSI, when the story up and heads for Tucson, AZ. They cut to an aerial shot labeled "Tucson, AZ" -- which looks like a sleepy little town with a big road passing it by. I just watched the new episode, and the smiles started right away. I swear this show makes me thoroughly giddy. Viva Laughlin has been canceled. I thought it might make it to a third airing, but CBS apparently read the entrails after the show lost nearly two million viewers in the space of half an hour and put it out of our misery.
