Thrown like a fastball

So here I am watching Without A Trace, which is doing the second part of a two-part crossover with CSI, when the story up and heads for Tucson, AZ. They cut to an aerial shot labeled "Tucson, AZ" -- which looks like a sleepy little town with a big road passing it by. I'm not sure where in buggery that establishing shot was made, but it wasn't here. The scene following makes it look like a dusty little one-horser in the middle of nowhere.
