Last week was a huge challenge. At the beginning of the week, the whole food plan thing was derailed by peeps, of all things, and the end of the week tanked because we were running around...for THREE days! You are still doing well and going strong. Not every week will be a big week in numbers. Your body is adjusting. Just keep it up. Things are looking up. :) Big props and smiles to that! Woot! :D

As for the optometrist, can you talk to him about maybe waiting a few days for the bill or do you not do that? I've had the same optometrist for 40 years (he refuses to retire) and he'd be fine even if I were fairly new.

That soup sounds yummy - I'll have to try it. I made a Thai shrimp soup this weekend that I may need to post on my blog. For some reason, I've not been into soups until this year. Huh.

This will be at Lense Crafters, first time seeing them (first time seeing an optometrist in over a decade), and most of it is covered by insurance. Don't think they'll work with us on the $150-$300 that won't be covered (transition, scratch resistant lenses, possibly for 2 people).

Really, last week's mess made me more determined to stick to it and lose the weight. The only catch is the Easter mess. Even int he store...so tempting....
