So how did Quantum Apocalypse pan out? What magic-science thingie that doesn't exist did they use?

Not entirely sure as I couldn't pay real attention to it for longer than about thirty seconds before my neurons started throwing stuff at the screen.

The purple apocalypse arrived and proceeded to eat the world causing it to tear apart and go wiggly, kinda like flying spaghetti. I think the scientists (I use that description only in the broadest term possible) pressed the button on their magic computer code which caused time to run backwards to a point before the purple death-spiggle existed and then (i assume) follow a new time line in which the apocalypse turned left at alpha centuri instead of right and never got to earth.

mostly at the moment i'm oasting tuesday to thursday but other than that can appear at any time of day or night to share coffee and alcohol and ramblings etc xx
ps - my father points outs that now is the correct time of year to drink whisky.
