I realised yesterday - after listening to Veronica Blessing complain about not being able to figure out how to create a character in D&D 4.0 - that I'd not had a go myself yet

Oddly enough, this is exactly my plan for the leisure time this evening. That, and making them fight some skeletons so I can get a feel for combat.
