The dungeon finder is VERY easy at low levels, and there is no such thing as an unsuitable spec, really--as a holy priest you should be able to get by perfectly well with flash heal + PW: shield until you get renew and heal in the mid-twenties. Disc priests have a slightly bigger toolbox at that level because they get penance at level 10, but that's about it. In all likelihood, once you're comfortable, you will end up DPSing some just because there's not all that much to do healing-wise at that level unless you get an awful group. You start with a small toolbox because at that level you honestly don't need that many tools; flash heal is a mana drain at end-game but at low levels your mana is basically infinite anyway so it doesn't matter ( ... )

I've leveled every healer, it's kinda my thing. I recently rolled a panda disco priest and have been doing dungeons as such as soon sas i was able to. You have three spells at level 15, penance, PW:S and flash heal. It's really very easy, just put a shield up, use penance as a priority( has a cd though) and flash heal when you need too. If you're worried about mana, jsut get the low level pots and carry with you(put on an action bar) they're really quite cheap at the ah at that level.

Do you have a healing addon? I use vuhdo.I set it to display weakened soul as well, so that I won't pw.s someone who has it.

All my toons are healers but one. I went Holy with my priest but at those level you really don't need more than flash heal & PW: Shield. While I level I stuck with prioritizing Intel over spirit but always kept mana pots & drinks in my bags. As for a healing addon I use Healbot which in my opinion is really simple to use.

I love my disc priests, but I'm sure holy is viable, too. I just like being able to heal while DPSing. I'd definitely prioritize intellect over spirit at low levels. You don't need to worry about mana regen until you get into the higher dungeons where the mobs start hitting like trucks instead of gnats. I always keep mana pots in my bags for my mana-using classes and drinks as well. I have Healbot and it's useful if you're going to throw some spells at the bad guys, and then need to heal someone in your party.

My priest is Disc/Holy. I love both. Disc is very over-powered for lower levels right now so I would do that. I love healbot as well.
