There've been several posts about it on the blizz forums and the responses have been dogpiles from "lol suck it up alliance douche" and the like.

Unfortunately the thread with the lukewarm "apology" from Bashiok is maxed out or I would have stuck my toe in the water there. I haven't used the official forums in years because I was tired of flames from some idiots who got their ya-yas from griefing me but I can't remain silent on this.

There needs to be some kind of acknowledgement from someone higher-up than a forum blue.

Most of the stuff on the forums is about the faction aspect of things anyway. It seems like very few people understand how monumentally shit this is. I'm also hoping that - even though my blog isn't very widely read - it gets picked up by wow blog people and passed around a bit.

Because yeah, you're right, there needs to be an official apology, and honestly a personal one from Samwise.

True. I'm disappointed that most of the outrage against this thing only references the horde/alliance disparity. *whoosh* The point, it was missed.

This gives voice to things I've mentioned in other posts, or just felt in general. It's not about Horde vs. Alliance. It's about using abusive, homophobic language and having people cheer and encourage. It's disgusting and wrong, I don't care how much 'fanboying' was being done.
