Can I get banned just for participating in TB?

Silly question maybe, but I've never PvP'd very seriously so I'm not too clear on Blizzard's PvP policies

Our realm (WRA) doesn't win trade. I guess we won't get banned, but the honor is really rather sucky. :/

Yes, even the suggestion of win-trading over here makes General chat on Horde-side rage. "Screw honor, we want to make the Alliance miserable!"

Win trading seems alive and kicking on my realm. :S What can you do when people do it every game? You'd have to just never play TB which kinda sucks. Blizz can be pretty flakey on their rules as well, they might let people win trade for a month and then ban every person in a battleground all at once. Who knows? I have no idea what to do about it.

Happening a lot on my realm. While I'm not too fond of the idea of being banned, the honor is so nice. >< I've bg'd for every piece of gear I have which took quite awhile with how fail most Alliance players are when it comes to bgs. =/ I guess I'm going to have to say it's nice to get a free 1800 honor every once in awhile. (I don't queue up very often for TB)

Win-trading requires active collusion with the players on the other side. Losing TB on purpose is not win-trading.

Losing TB on purpose might not fall into the category of "win trading," but it does fall into the category of "non-participation," which Blizzard has actioned people for in the past. See: normal battlegrounds (AV, WSG, etc).

Alive and well on my realm... I dunno, I like the honor, but I'm afraid of being banned, too. :/ The one I was in last night, since defending was SO pointless, I just ran around killing sieges for the achievement... got a few down before the Horde won.
