Can I get banned just for participating in TB?

Silly question maybe, but I've never PvP'd very seriously so I'm not too clear on Blizzard's PvP policies.

Anyway, recently my guild began putting a 10 man group together for rated BGs. I am excited as hell because I actually get to play competitive Feral for once (I PVE as Resto) and I've trying to accumulate as much honor/crafted PvP gear as possible for next week when we start.

I stepped into my first TB fight today to see that most of our team (on defense) was standing around doing nothing so we could be on the attack next battle. Afterward poking around the forums I saw that Blizzard said they would ban anyone for trade winning TB (which surprised me, because it was obvious from the get go what raising the honor points would do, I seriously thought this was Blizzard's intention until they could make winning easier).

So now that I know for sure that my entire realm is participating in win trading (and according to chat this has been going on all week), I'm afraid I'll get in trouble just for being in the same BG, even if I'm doing what I'm supposed to be doing. Would it be worth it just to avoid TB until the entire mess is fixed, or do they only ban people who are actively (or in this case inactively) win trading? I've heard of Blizzard banning people by proxy before, so it's got me concerned about even queuing up.

How are you all handling it?
