Not me--the garden. HH brought one in the other night, waving in triumph, but it's been too wet to pick. (Nasty things happen to bean leaves if you touch them when they are wet.) This morning was sunny, though. Long enough to dry things out. So after lunch I dashed out to pick.

I did it! I hoped to finish drafting a picture book this week and I just did. It certainly needs revision, but the basics are there. I am so relieved, because next week I have a magazine article to focus on, not to mention taking the Fourth of July off. If I hadn't finished it, I would be afraid I would have lost the momentum.  kpluta inspired me to take the test, which came out pretty much the way I thought it would, except that I loooove reading and loathe sports--yoga and figure skating are about as close as I get to sports.

The garden is almost all in--beans, more greens, carrots, cucumbers, squashes. What's left? Tomatoes, peppers, and basil. They'll wait until next weekend, when the danger of frost is (we hope) gone for the year.

Grades are in--well, all but one. Deadlines are met. Editing jobs are out of my hands, both of them! So, this morning I had a whole hour for revisions. The stuff I've been working on at the end of the day didn't look as bad as I was afraid it would.
