Planting

The garden is almost all in--beans, more greens, carrots, cucumbers, squashes. What's left? Tomatoes, peppers, and basil. They'll wait until next weekend, when the danger of frost is (we hope) gone for the year.

aww, thanks for the hugs. Luckily, I can use the library computers, because mine is going to be out of commision for a while. I left it with tech services, so now I just wait.

Yeah, plus you've got your own Tech services department. Hope the wait isn't too horrendous. (Chocolate might help.)

They said anywhere from a week to 10 days. They have my home address and home phone number, so they know how to contact me.

Our garden is in but we are only planting tomatoes and radishes this year. Later, pumpkins will be added. My hubby wanted to focus on pumpkins this year to see if he could break his record in weight. One year, he grew a 75 pounder.
Our strawberry plants survived a frost this year. Last year, we had a late frost that destroyed all the flowers. I missed my strawberries last year!

I know what you mean about frost. We had fewer crab apples last year (I like to make the jelly, because it's such a lovely color and flavor), because of cold and rain. This year the tree was absolutely humming with bees, so I'm hopeful.

Gardening is such an adventure!
