Mission Accomplished - Picture book draft
I did it! I hoped to finish drafting a picture book this week and I just did. It certainly needs revision, but the basics are there. I am so relieved, because next week I have a magazine article to focus on, not to mention taking the Fourth of July off. If I hadn't finished it, I would be afraid I would have lost the momentum. I do work on multiple projects, but I have those every week anyway, so if I can get a solid first draft like this down, life is better.
This is the picture book about gardening and "putting food by" I mentioned in my June 25 post on "How much you know."
Now I'm going to let it sit, while I go on to other things.
