LASIK Success!
Can't post much right now, not supposed to be using computer (heck I'm not even looking at the screen right now) but I just went to LASIK MD to get my Zypotix laser treatment done. In and out in under 2 hours, and oh my god the things I can see now. It's amazing. I might post more when I can actually, you know, look at what I'm writing.

Everything in my apartment smells like bacon. All of it - bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living room. Bacon, bacon, bacon.

Today in the mail I got a letter from the Ottawa paramedic services. It congatulates me on having stopped to give first aid along with another Good Samaritan. It's signed by the Ottawa chief paramedic.
It's nothing fancy, but I think I'll get it framed :)
