I can understand how you want to stick to a project and see it through, but at the same time I can see why Matt wants you home.
I mean, I know you're not supposed to "enjoy" work, but too often, when you blog about work, you just sound so... tired and lonely. Maybe it's stress, maybe it's something else, but I wouldn't want to see you so burnt out. You should do whatever is best for your mental health.
a few things... 240 hrs of vacation????? DUDE take some time off!! gah. Cactus Canyon is fun i hear.. a few of my friends go just about every year and have a blast. Sadly i have never been even tho they have threatened to drag me there kicking and screaming :) LOL and, just saying here, it never hurts to look at other jobs.. doesn't mean your going to take them or anything. As you said take some time and relax and evaluate stuff. Maybe see if you can sleep past 5:30am sometimes :P i mean, geez.. i'm still awake at that time in the morning.. but i'm an insomniac so *shrug* :P *huggs*
