You're welcome. I have problems with these verbal distinctions in so many languages so I know it is hard to remember or even to understand sometimes. In Cantonese, the verb to ride a bicycle is to "tread" (chaai) which is so graphic that I never forget!

Ah, it's the first time that I have seen those bright stamps and, to be honest, on the face of that big white parcel they don't seem so garish maybe.

Mmm - probably if he doesn't answer, it will be because I have knocked in the wrong way, maybe silently even!

Thank you for your example. This usage has confused me for a while because you can see in airports and hotels both "Willkommen" and "Empfang" - and usually in capitals so I can't even tell if the word if being used as a noun! I know (danger danger) that "willkommen" comes to me more quickly just because it is cognate with the English word "welcome", so that it already a barrier to my good understanding. And to use the verb "to give" in the context of a welcome is perfectly sound English so nothing is dead yet ;=)

Love as always! Then again, when is he not lovely?

Actually I was just at the bookstore today, and I saw the August issue of Arena 37c special. I haven't been keeping up with the scans shared on the comms, so I had a lovely time browsing XD This issue was the one where he was dressed in whites and looks all set to go on a vacation...something which I can't quite equate with Gackt, but still, the pictures were amusing and beautiful.

Hello!! Wow - you have shops where you can see Arena 37c - sigh. I so miss the Gackt-loaded mag racks in Japan!

Pleased to see that your experience this summer was a lot nicer than last year, btw. Excellent! I had been wondering whether the silence was good news or bad. Glad you've found some things of value in your vacation - hopefully you can keep a bit of the benefit after you're back to the UK.

Yes, isn't this haul Big Love? I've a soft spot for pre-Diabolos Gackt so this first five-year's worth of UV pix is very exciting for me to have. I've been chasing a copy for a while so finding this one in such nice condition made me very happy. I promise to give it a good home, if little peace!

Dun forget to let me know when you're back - and which postal address I can use :=) Bring warm clothes - the nights are already chilly.

Thanks for leaving a comment here. Make the most of seeing His Extreme Gorgeousness in your local bookshops!

Well, not every bookstore here carries Arena 37c; I was at Kinokuniya that day which has a pretty large selection of Japanese materials. And they were nice enough to leave an unwrapped copy of every mag there for browsing purposes so I spend many happy minutes flipping through.

The silence....was a mixture of good and bad, but on the work-front it was mostly good. Long hours, at least 12 hours a day, which is why I wasn't online much, but the work wasn't too bad.

Looks-wise, I actually prefer post-Diabolos Gackt since I like him with black hair and a buff body :). But musically speaking... well, the songs I like most are all over the place, there is no specific period I prefer.

I have three more weeks before I fly back, I'll let you know when :). Thanks for the heads-up!
