Now What Should I Do?

Nov 04, 2010 21:34

Started the medication today, it is only a week's course. I have to drink a lot of water and take them with food, three times a day. I'm still on the iron tables as well, so taking a lot of medication, therefore I've been waiting to get the next item, medically, on my list sorted.

To spare you the gory details )

me, kane concert, women's problems

I had horrendously long and heavy periods a few years back. My doctor recommended that I get a Myrena Coil which I did and it completely sorted me out, within 6 months I'd stoppped getting periods at all. Now they've started to come back a little but that's because it's over 5 years and I'm due to have it changed for a new one. I can't tell you the difference it made to my life, it's definitely worth asking about. And yes if you have any doubts about Ovarian Cysts do ask to have it checked.

I'll have that checked out. I guess first thing to do it ask about the possiblity of a cyst, then look at the other options as the tablets they have given me are not working.

First piece of advice: don't suffer unnecessarily... seriously, it's the 21st century - where everything changes - and they have beautiful medications :D

2nd - I had very painful and irregular periods (so much I had pain for a week before - once I took 3 safe types of painkillers together - only for their not to be any bleeding - yep, pregnant) although all tests came back negative for reasons - same with the 6 year wait to get pregnant

but now: I have an Implanon implant - it's an inch long stick in my upper arm that acts as contraceptive - in 2 1/2 years I've had no real periods and no pain... I will get another when this one runs out in July - the coil works similarly

It would be a good idea to have that checked. *nods* Poor thing, that sounds horrible!

As for the concert, I'm sure you can have fun without drinks too!

Dude, I'm not planning on drinking, I'm on at 7.19am train back to Edinburgh and need to be in work for 12.00pm in Livingston, I'll be sober!

As for recognising, probably best to just post pics of ourselves?

Good, so not drinking would be the best idea.

Only problem with posting pictures is my friends have tremours. All the pictures end up fuzzy. Umm! Need to think......

Well we'll be easy to find, 3 of us, a tall guy, two medium height girls, one probably with a hairband and some sort of geeky t-shirt and I'm really really fat, so you kinda can't miss me, plus I'll have purple-ish hair and probably wearing either a Kane T-shirt or purple strappy top.

I should be pretty easy to find. I'm only 5'4" though and 10 stone (but trying to diet, hoping to lose about 7lb by then, joined my friends dieting comm). Before the concert I'll probaby have on black jeans, a rollneck jumper and a cream anorak (I hate the cold), with a rather large black shoulder bag. At the concert, where it will probably get warm, black jeans and a black Kane T-Shirt.

I'm also salt and pepper, with a lot of grey at the front of my hair. I don't dye it.
