Work is screwing me over royally. I originally transferred there under the impression that I would be working 11:30 am - 7:30 pm, and only doing, at most, one or two closings a month as needed. Ugh.. I've been thinking about what my car needs done to it. When I had the oil changed, the guys said that I needed a new head gasket and CV Boot. On top of that, the plastic protector on the bottom has been coming loose, thus drags on the ground occasionally. *sigh* I can't afford the repairs, and I can't afford payments for another car ( Read more... )

So, as a reminder, I work at a Subway in a truck stop. Today was going pretty well until about my last hour. I get this asshat of a guy in line, my co-worker starts helping the people behind the guy. So today was a fairly good day for me, despite feeling nauseated most of the day. My first-year review at work happened today. I got a perfect mark! All 4's in each section with a multitude of lovely comments and encouragements. And the best part of it? I'm expected to get a 30 cent raise! So instead of 8.50 an hour, it'll be 8.80 an hour.
