Man, that all really sucks. Hopefully things get better for you, somehow...

I know college is expensive, but if you know what you want to do, loans really help out. I can survive on part-time income and loans right now while I'm in school. I know you've been thinking about it, but what's stopping you? Or, I suppose the question is... at what point will things be good enough you'll decide to do it?

Yeah there is no way, at this point in time, that I'll be able to go to school and only work part-time. I need the insurance, and I need the money.

You have to remember, I'm supporting myself and my mate on my income. And while she just got a job, it'll be a while until I can afford to even drop 5 hours at work. I'm paying 80 bucks worth of a cable bill, I also have to foot 100 for rent and another 30 for electricity. Then there's gas for my car. Then there's money I have to spend for food and necessity crap... Yeah. Trust me, I've tried going to part-time and even 35 hours. It doesn't work out too well.

Aww, I'm sorry you're feeling this way. My mom always says 'life isn't for the faint of heart.' It's true, but I think getting by and being happy are all about attitude and just finding a place where you're happy. Sometimes it's unexpected too; I thought I'd only be happy working in a museum or doing art, and here I ended up with a job in a bank and I love it. It takes time to get to that happy place though and a lot of hard work. Try to be on the lookout for opportunities with jobs or education or anything so you can snatch them up when they come along. The money problems add stress and make everything worse until then. It helps to live below your means if you can and cut out extra things you don't need.

Has your sister seen a doctor for those lesions? Ugh, they sound awful. Health problems really suck.

Good luck, I hope things look up for you soon.

She sees doctors like 3 times a week. She's been in and out of the hospital about 50 times if not more since January of this year.

There really isn't anything they can do about it other than jack her up on medications that make her feel like shit.

I'm sorry. I hope they can find a way to help her out without all the crappy side effects.
