So my hair used to have a tiny amount of wave in it that about 10 minutes after waking up would be gone completely. Then it was stick straight. I remember trying to get a perm in the 80's and having to have the rollers heat set because the chemicals alone weren't enough. Pregnancy changed all that. Now my hairs are pretty wavy almost curly.

Yellow Pear, Green Zebra, Black Krim, uhhh... I can't remember the other three. I'll have to look tomorrow! I didn't get my peas started in time. I tried direct sowing them twice, but both times some critter ate really well. ;)

Finally got out there and looked at the tags - the others are a Sun Gold and a Whopper. I had a Mortgage Lifter, but it died during a freak cold snap. I forgot I replaced it with a tomatillo, which has nothing but blooms on it so far. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong with it, or if you need two plants for it or what.

My hair has gotten curlier over the years too! It's REALLY weird because I used to get it permed when I was a young'en. (15-25 maybe?) I wanted curly hair but it was just kinda wavy. I stopped blow drying my hair straight this year for the first time since that period because of the tendonitis in my hand and.............I HAVE SPIRAL FREAKING CURLS DUDE. I use Redken Ringlet and a little CHI oil and the diffuser - and SPIRAL FREAKING CURLS. WHERE DID THEY COME FROM???????????? My hairdresser, who I've had since the last perm (!!!), can *NOT* believe it either. I saw her yesterday and my hair was pulled back but curly and she was shocked. When I follow that routine, my hair wouldn't be any curlier if I got a perm at this point. You should get some of that Ringlet stuff and try it out. It keeps your curls soft - not crunchy - and REALLY works to bring out maximum curl. Blow dry your hair upside down with the diffuser on it - just kind of pile the hair right on top of the diffuser and let sit for a minute, move on to the next area, etc. ( ( ... )

I don't think my hair has seen a blowdyer since the last time I got a haircut, just after Erik was born. o.O I need a haircut. LOL

I will definitely check out the Redken Ringlet! They don't test on animals, do they? I'm using Tresamme products right now because they're the only ones I've found that don't. But then, I usually get hair stuff at Target. Haha

They say no:

4. Does Redken test on animals?

We confirm that REDKEN, part of the L'Oréal Group, has carried out no animal testing on its entire range of products since 1989.

I can find some Redken products at regular stores like CVS, etc. but I've never seen the Ringlet stuff there. At least not around these parts. It still works with air-drying, I just don't the massive height like with the diffuser. Diffusing is pretty easy though. I sit on the toilet and read a book on the iPad while I'm doing it. MULTI TASKING WIN. lol

LOL That might work if I were EVER allowed to go to the toilet by myself. Add on top of that, the hairdryer is like a magnet for kids. Haha.

I'm sure Ulta has it, and I'm in there fairly regularly for OPI stuff.

Has the palette garden worked well? We have a pallet in the garage but Keith refuses to let me use it because he's worried it's treated with lord knows what. It doesn't look treated to me though.
Have you grown those varieties of tomato before? I hear a lot of good things about black krims and yellow pear!

It's working very well! I didn't even give a second thought to what it might be treated with. It's probably just pressure treated, but given that they are mass produced to be cheap and not especially durable I'm skeptical about even that.

I haven't grown any of these varieties before! I'm really looking forward to them. :)
