I just hiked up a glacier and summited Mt. Lyell! So much snow... Miles and miles of snow. The tundra hasn't thawed out yet. Late spring here. Two friends and I went up. According to the summit register at the top, we are the 5th party to summit this year.

I made it here fine, things are great, I'm settled in, getting trained, hiking, climbing, having a blast, missing Cypher, and I finally found a way to get on the interbuttz. Life is good. I have a massive house in Yosemite Valley just under Yosemite Falls and I can see Half Dome from my bed. The grocery store down the road is full of delicious ( Read more... )
