Summary: After three years of college, Hyukjae decided to take a year off to "find himself." It wasn't long before he started questioning what it was he really wanted to find.

i'm so glad you finally posted! this will be brief because i have work to get back to but--you know how much i loved this. i like how you wove the napkin in at the end and the line I want to dream the rest of my life with you," he repeated at an audible level, surprisingly steady, "I’ll leave my heart by you now." is great. as mentioned before, i really appreciate how you brought real life into the story: hyuk's apprehensiveness about his future and working at this place forever and daniel!

If he's my boy, does that mean I'm the girl? this was particularly interesting to me because it tells us he's just coming to grips with his sexuality or, beyond that, that he's still thinking in terms of heteronormative roles. also when his sister calls and asks if he has a girlfriend now, kissing in public (frowned upon even when it's a straight couple, but must be a thousand times more taboo with two guys), little things that you didn't really dwell on but still kinda left the reader to think about them. anyway yes! i liked this a lot ♥ and ( ... )

Interesting... is right XD I actually didn't notice that. Hyukjae's thoughts usually just get typed out and I don't really have much of a say. That's a good point though. Academically speaking, I've come across some studies that go into cases like these that filter homosexual standards with heterosexual ones because it's hard to... see outside the box, so to speak, due to social constructs that they've lived with forever. It's within this comparison that some people try to push acceptance. ... Wait, what was my point? Haha, er... Your comments always make me think o ( ... )

i need to get a grip on myself. was just visiting your page to see if you updated and homkdsjh you did you did you did! i'm so glad you finally posted this chapter! i liked the entire thing and how hyukjae said the lines that he wrote on the napkin to daniel.
i found it cute that daniel stopped kissing him but still eyed his lips and told him that they're in the a busy street XD i loved this i loved this ♥

I had been itching to get the whole /Destiny, Fate, and Napkins/ thing out from the beginning. I didn't know it would come out like this, but I'm really happy it turned out nicely 8)

l-o-v-e you, i was made to be with you ♥!!!! I love the way Tablo says that in the song and it makes it imaginable here :D Lol, Beautiful words would totally turn Daniel on. I like how after Hyuk says his little couplet (I like how you returned to the napkin, btw! Nicee), he reacts in that way, because I think it's true to his character. Actually, that whole scene with them talking on the overpass - it could be cheesy but it seems so them, and their words, and it just makes sense.

For all their intelligent conversations, all their poetics, it was all right that they were reduced to the awkward sputterings of dumb fools in--

lol... I suppose no one should know where Hyuk's lines come from, but it's good that Daniel's final line is recognizable 8DDD It took me forever to round it back to the napkin. lol.

I've been really antsy over the first and last scenes, whether they were appropriate enough or just... good enough for them. For them to open up enough to finally be comfortable with each other, and then just having it all flipped over to have to start over in a different context, I really wanted them to be... real. lol. _-_
