Silence, almost.
Today the air conditioner stopped making noise. I don't know why--maybe it's broken. Excited, I quickly shut down my computer, expecting the silence I've been missing. Then... 60 Hz. I've started to use ebay again. So far I've won a set of cuff links, and a postcard. The cuff links are mother of pearl ellipses, a little over an inch long. The post card is vintage, and of a spiral staircase. Suitable for framing, I'd say. I should be fine as long as I stay away from the designer clothes of questionable origin.
