Working on my life little by little

It's been a weird month
Like, I've had a lot going on, but can't actually tell you what's been going on. My brain likes to just block things out sometimes, so that's fun. I haven't really been on either of my computers except to pay bills, but today I am on a mission to find some Halloween music and make a CD for work. So much stuff
I'm sitting here at my computer, while I attempt to get everything (slowly I might add) off of data discs and onto the computer. Yes, you read that right, DATA DISCS... I need to get everything off of those, and my super old external hard drives so that I can go through it, get rid of probably half of it and then put it on my new shiny and super ( Read more... ) -
Sometimes I just lose track of myself
I have a really difficult time forming good habits, like why is it so easy to form bad habits, but not good ones. I know that coming on here and writing, or even just reading everyone else's post will be good for me, because these are relationships that need to be taken care of (both with myself and others). Really getting into the groove
Like, I am clearing my headspace and slowly accomplishing things that need to get done and really thinking about my spending choices. I had the last two days off because Boyfriend was supposed to have leg/foot surgery(more on that later) but it got postponed. Woah
Time has flown! I was so busy on my days off trying to finishing clearing out the storage unit that I haven't really been on the internet. So I got that completely done! Last week was a weird week
And like, I don't know how else to describe it. Maybe it was the weather finally cooling down, but I honestly can't remember most of the week. Brain space/ Brain dump
Everything takes up too much brain space in my head. Like, I have to write myself dozens of notes and lists so that I won't forget things. I had the weekend off, but spent most of it either cleaning, organizing and setting up the new computer, or laying on my bed trying to not die from the heat. Y'all! I got my new computer! She's so pretty and shiny and new (to me, preowned is fine with me!) I've been having a little fun playing on it and going through a few old data disks in between cleaning the house. Making lists
This week is an odd work week for me because my manager is on vacation, so I'm working M-F all day shifts. Now typically this sounds ideal, EXCEPT when you're used to work some opening, some closing and usually work max 4 days in a row.
