The last week has been busy but boring. I've been going to my mom's work with her to pick up some extra cash. At the same time, I've increased my job search, making my search radius wider. I'm now looking for places in the valley and along the coastline, I'm fairly desperate for money. I need to move out of here, I love my mom but I can't continue

I'd have to find out if it's covered by my medical but if I had to choose between Lap-Band and Lasek, it would be the latter. Well, I'd have to get a consultation. For me, I really need the surgery but I can understand wanting to save for something else. You're saving for your wedding and me? Well I'm saving for NYC ;D
A nanny? For kids? Nooooo way, I am so not a kid person. For me, the only kid I like is an obedient and quiet kid, which is why I don't know if I'd want kids. A pet sitter is a possibility though.

I hear ya...I'm just saying if it's NOT covered by medical, you might want to just do something cheaper like joining a gym and getting a trainer/nutritionist to help you. Yea I'm saving for my wedding, a new car, a house, etc. :P
Ah I see. It's just that nannies get paid a lot considering you don't do much. hahahaha I've done it a few times...if they are older kids, you don't have to do as much, and even if they are little kids they sleep most of the time...:P
For pet sitting you can even work in a facility, not necessarily going to people's houses...or work in a shelter, they are probably looking for some ACTs or customer service people. I know mine is...:)

I wouldn't mind being a British nanny, go to England and take care of some rich little British kids and teach them to appreciate life and to let them know that chimney sweeps are a jolly lot....I've had maybe 5 hours of sleep within the last 48 hours, can't you tell? ;)

Hate to tell you, but you have to Lasik when your eyes become stable. I think mine keep getting worse so I'm not a candidate, yet. :-\ I know what you mean though, contacts are such a hassle.
Holy crap that's a cheap fee for staying a week in NYC! Good deal! Hmmm, as for musicals I take it you've already seen Spamalot? Have you seen Les Miserables? That one was really good.
Oh it would be awesome to meet you after all these years! Keep me in the loop about it. We can see an IMAX together and everything. And I actually haven't been to the Holocaust since I was little so that would be interesting to see too. :)
You're better about volunteering than I am, though I did volunteer for MLK day.
Can't wait to see the photos! :)

I know! I remember the last time I Was in NYC it was like...$200 a night, which is decent for Manhattan but still! Sadly I haven't see Spamalot! It's playing in Vegas but I hate Vegas so I don't want to go. I've seen Les Mis :D
I plan on seeing Lion King again, Spamalot, Phantom again, and maybe Wicked again...oh and maybe something else. I have much to save for.
The last time I was in DC I was 14 and kinda a brat so I didn't appreciate the Holocaust museum as much as I should, but it did effect me. That'd be fun...well not the Holocaustt museum, but IMAX!
