I'm so sorry for your loss. Your friend sounds like she was a sweetheart and a ray of sunshine to all she was around. Sometimes, the passage of time eases the ache that losing someone creates and other times, not. I am sure it meant so much that you were there for her at the end. As helpless as you must have felt, your presence must have been a comfort and a great gift to her. Thank you for sharing this.
