It's been a very long day.
Ian's resting, he threw up all over Sarah on the way out of the hospital, which happens sometimes when you mess with the inner ear. He's very low energy, and is not signing back to us when he's awake.
We're wiped out.

Ian is mostly sleeping, pretty wonked out from anesthesia. He has surgical scars behind his ears, and there is a little bleeding from his right ear, which the surgeon says is normal and will stop ( Read more... ) -
Ian out of surgery
Ian is out of surgery and in the recovery room - we haven't seen him yet.
Surgeon says everything went fine, wants us to monitor his temperature for the next couple weeks to detect any infection.

Ian's surgery
Hi Folks-
I wanted to send out a quick update about Ian's cochlear implant surgery. We are scheduled to go in tomorrow morning, and he should be in surgery around 8 AM. The procedure takes about 3 hours, and he'll be under observation in the afternoon. We expect to be home tomorrow evening. The anesthesia will make him woozy for probably most ( Read more... ) -

Ecology Action at 707 e 9th street and IH-35 now accepts plastics 3,4,5,6,7 in addition to types 1&2!!
So now all your plastics 1-7 can avoid the landfill.

We returned home yesterday at 5PM. Sarah is resting, and doing well.
Ian is very excited about his little brother, as soon as we got home and he saw he baby, he made the sign for baby, and ran to get the little hat that he puts on the baby doll that we got him months ago. He was not satisfied until we put the hat on his brother's head. He also ( Read more... )
