...this will be short. Brevity is also due to pain and stiffness in my hands, wrists, etc. Yes, I've been naughty lately and have not used proper typing/mousing form so the old carpal tunnel is flaring up again. :) So nice

First, serious stuff - I had no idea you got RSI. That's really bad!! I hope you rest your hands otherwise your tag will be: "I LJ'd so much I got RSI!"
Secondly, the variety in this post made me choke. From Honkie pop stars, gay cowboys, Dickens, San Franciscan singer song writers who are former programmers to Rome. :) Hee.
I'm glad you enjoyed the Nicholas song. I forced a friend (non-Nick fan ;) to download the clip so that he could translate the Cantonese for me. It was a genuine surprise - Eason was supposed to be filming a movie and showed up unexpectedly which is why Nicholas probably sang it so simply. You notice he just did a harmony instead of any solo bits?
The Vienna Teng song is here at the forum on her official site but I'm just downloading it now. The forum's moderated by her best friend Eric and also Vienna's very cool about mp3s so it seems to be a 'legal' mp3. I have to remember to monitor her forum more regularly because there are so many good bits - like she sang 'On the turning away' by Pink Floyd at

When I posted it, it didn't even occur to me, but you're right, I'm certainly all the the place. :) This is so "me," though - these are the things that I was excited about this morning, and all at the same time! Haha! Being inside my head is a bit of a blender/rollercoaster experience for the anyone who does not possess whiplashing-inducing interests! Dont' try this at home, kids!
Actually, this reminds me that when I was in university, I worked at the college radio station (a very small, humble affair - we barely had over-air transmission because our transmitter was so pathetic) as a DJ for 3 years (by the end I was program director, an extremely unenviable job). I'm not very good at the improvisational dialogue part about being a DJ, but I loved to play music, the more eclectic the better. Eventually I teamed up with a friend of mine who loved Art

I've been hearing rumbles about that scene since it aired (it's the penultimate ep, right?) but I'm trying to stay away from spoilers. I remember reading some stuff on your LJ but I do want to see it fresh, so I've erased everything I read from my mind. :D I'm quite looking forward to the rest!
O, so sorry to hear about your hands! I had bad problems with my shoulder last year (may be because i use mouse a lot for work). It took me several months to get better, and now i always try to check myself.(not always, i gues, but pains keep me in check ;)
Difficult to be reasonable with computers, isn't it? Often i wish that my thoughts could be directly projected into computer. It will true one day!
Usually I am very good about maintaining correct posture, but when I mouse too much incorrectly, it's a killer. I'll get better - it's been much worse in the past. Rest is usually the best solution. :)
Haha! I've read science fiction novels where people had a dataport so they could "plug in" and I have often wished that I could do that, so I could participate in the data stream. Someday, maybe. :)
I can't wait to see more episodes of both BH & Rome - see, when people say "there's nothing good on television" I have to disagree - you just have to pay attention and find the good stuff. It's definitely out there. Both of these programs are perfect examples of excellent programming.
