Wow, hahahaha - so weird. Anyway, I just left Virginia this spring and now live in Massachusetts. Wanna visit my friends in Oct. tho.

Hi there - this is unexpected! :) The pink scallopy box is actually a family-sized sakura bento. Er, well, I think it's supposed to be family-sized for Japanese people, but it fit two caprese salads for us quite nicely. ;)

Thank you! The deliciousness was entirely due to the high quality of the ingredients - the essence of summer, I think, is to take really excellent raw foods and serve them simply. :)

Oh, and the yellow thing is the handle of a nifty spoon that N's mom gave us.
