I opened my journal after a long while of grumbling over the fact that I had to check different links everyday for the LJs of my friends in yaoi fandom. I didn't want to have a livejournal, I never liked to do something just because everyone else did. But finally I succumbed. And I started writing in it, or rather playing a certain role in it, never sharing much private stuff. That changed when I was in Japan and completely on my own - LJ changed to the only reliable contact to friends that I had, and I decided to address not only superficial, but my most private thoughts. For this reason, I went friends only ( ... )

as for me, i created my lj account last 2001. hahaha! primary reason was to post about important events in my life while i was still part of the Indie Band Circle and at that time, my f-list are mostly from the same circle.

i moved on and left the said circle and so my lj account has been inactive for 4-5 yrs i think.

JE fandom particularly Arashi and Kat-tun has been my reason for revisiting my lj account again. Regularly checking on my f-list for new updates, downloads, akame fanfics and anything related to my fandoms eversince.

my lj has also been my venue to keep in touch with my friends in RL and online wherever i am as long as i have internet connection. hahahaha! now, lj have been a big part of my life since start of 2007.

i seldom post about RL in my lj now, mostly related to my fandoms. i'd rather post my comments in my f-list entries :)

I started a livejournal to keep up with the Harry Potter fandom. It was a way to leave comments on fic as well as post my own awful attempts (I shipped Draco/Ginny and now I ship Akame. I really do like unattainable and unlikely pairings don't I?! Although I guess Akame is slightly more likely, especially the way they used to be ( ... )

While I mainly use LJ to fangirl, I occasionally write about myself and my real life. It's a place for me to beg for 'hugs' from my flist when I feel down. :)

Why: I got an lj because nihongofrancais and katrinastrife made me while I was in Japan? I stick around, because it's generally a fun distraction from all the stuff I should be doing. I like to keep a journal in general and typing is easier than writing, but lj is nice because it has some social aspects--i can use it to keep up on what friends (near and far) are up to, and make new connections based on shared interest and interaction ( ... )
