Worlds 2011 (part 36a/?)

Johnny manages to get through the rest of everything pretty much okay. There's a lot of microphones in his face all the time and a lot of questions, and he tells everyone over and over again that he's very tired and he needs to go rest but yes, he's very happy. He gets more flowers pushed at him than he could ever know what to do with, and so many hugs he feels like he's in a constant human cocoon. After a while he starts to feel numb to it all, until at one point he sees Evan walking out with Frank and Yuki and Evan cuts him a sideways look, and everything hurts again for a second. It's weird, because Evan's back in his usual dumb face again, but Johnny feels like he can read it much better now. Evan looks kind of shocked still and mostly like he really wants to say something to Johnny, but they're too far apart. Johnny looks away from him

Lol, no, not usually. Like, in most fics I completely love Evan to death, and in real life... I guess I'm kind of new to this fandom so we'll see how it goes? (I probably will be eventually though, negl.)

But I guess I just have a thing about not being able to do anything. Like, my least favorite way to feel ever is helpless. So I think it kind of hit home with how it wasn't his fault and yeah maybe he needs to learn a lesson too in his life but it wasn't this lesson and so that just sucked and there was nothing he could do. The parts that were the worst were the bits where he was like 'NO EVAN WE WILL BE SWITCHED BACK BY TOMORROW, WE ABSOLUTELY WILL' and you just knew they weren't going to be, but I could totally feel for him so hard with the almost panic and the insistence and the complete uselessness of him wanting it so badly because he was just stuck

Also, that was kind of cool because most of the time when I get an email notification that someone has commented on one of the kinkmeme threads I'm tracking, it isn't in response to my comment, and this one was! \O/
