Brilliant. I love that the Doctor is defending Jack, but I can see him having trouble saying all of that to his face. Loved the ending, too.

Doesn't he just? But he finds it so difficult to tell Jack anything important - such as that he missed him, he wants him to come with him again... He has to be separated from Jack by a bloody great door to offer any kind of honesty, and then he can't even ask Jack properly to come with him. Oh well - it gives us such great opportunities to put it right through fic!

Aw, this is so sweet and adorable, and it made me giggle it was so brilliantly depicted. I loved how Ten was gushing so proudly about all the wonderful things Jack had done and then as soon as he was there in front of him, he became so completely awkward about it in front of his Jack. You really captured that trait of the Doctor's so perfectly, and I could see this happening in just that way.

Your banter with the Doctor and the other Torchwood team members was fantastic as well, I loved it when Ianto challenged the Doctor, and all he could do was whisper his own shame in his reply. Poor Jack, he is once again chastised by the Doctor, not knowing that only a few minutes earlier he was telling off his team for doing the same thing. I wonder if Owen will tell him what they were really talking about. *grins*
