Ooh, I really enjoyed this! You really capture the dynamic between the Doctor and Jack, from the tense banter at the start to the evasiveness and caring in the final conversation. I especially loved this exchange:

“It’s just that, eventually, the question seems kinda pointless. My life is- what was it you said? A fact. A straight line, going forward and forward and forward forever. My opinions aren’t going to change that.”

“It might not.” The Doctor’s eyes, dark and bottomless, met Jack’s for only a moment. “But it would change you.”

Ooh, I like this a lot. I feel like this was a conversation Jack and Ten should have had and didn't. I like to think that Jack has reached this sort of peace with his immortality, or will, at least, someday. Thanks for writing!

I really liked this! So many interesting things going on here. I found this intriguing: If I knew more about what happened to you, Jack, I’d know more about what might kill you in the end. And I loved this line: ‘Oh, Jack, you should go into the room with the disintegrating radiation, that stuff probably won’t kill you.’”.
