Last night, when her fever spiked to a terrifying 104.6 (105 is where you start worrying about brain damage), we took Catherine to Phoenix Children's Hospital ER. I'm running on very little sleep, myself, now, as a result, but it is probable (though not definite) that she has the dread PigFlu. I hope she gets better soon!

It's weird they prescribed tamiflu...she's been sick more than 48 hours hasn't she?

All of my friends with confirmed H1N1 were extremely sick for at least a week (with fevers of at least 2-4 days) and since they thought they just had a cold at first didn't get in to the doctor in time for the 48 hour tamiflu window, and thus weren't prescribed any. None of them are toddlers though. Maybe it's helpful for kids after that window.

Either way, if you were only sick for 24 hours it's not likely you had H1N1 based on the available CDC data, hopefully you won't catch it from her.

I've had as high as 107 before. Kids are tough she'll be up and around in no time
