Last night, I started putting together my music to load onto my Karma player for the hospital. It turns out that I have a lot of music I haven't listened to in, like, forever, because it isn't loaded on a player now (actually, I have two - one for the car and one for the house*) and I don't re-load my players very often, and the last time I did

I think Amber cued up a 20 hour playlist for her birth and turned out to need all of it and then some. On the plus side though, I think the nurses dropped by more frequently because they liked the tunes.

Thanks, Rich. That's...umm...not so encouraging. :-p

I intend to load up the player, just because I know that some of the music I THINK I want will wind up not being so welcome when I'm actually in there. I want a wide range of genres.

I also have movies. Airplane! for one - I know it almost by heart, and it never fails to make me laugh. So I won't get lost, and when I AM watching it, I'll be amused, anyway.
