Over the weekend I had my first houseguest! :D Brittany came down from Brooklyn for a (much-loved) visit. Seriously, it is so exciting to be on the same coast as her and within easy travel distance. We've spent the majority of the last few years on opposite coasts or in different countries.

Sounds like one of those perfect weekends! I hope Brittany's well, how's Brooklyn treating her (or should I say, she treating Brooklyn?)

I'm half interested in seeing Becoming Jane. But I'm always fully interested in cupcakes. Even with lime frosting.

The lime cupcakes were quite good, actually. It was a nice subtle lime flavour. Though not as exquisitely tasty as the strawberry.

I'd say you don't have to go out of your way to see Becoming Jane. If you've got someone you can drag along go with, then it's fun. Otherwise you can just wait for the DVD.

Ahh, strawberry ... the classics never die ...

Yeah, I've heard good things about Hathaway's performance, but it's not really a theater must-see (see: HP:OotP), so I was gonna Netflix it on in. Wherein I am assured it would usher in multiple felicitations. Yes. Quite.
