Use? It's weather. You can ignore it as best as you can, or you can force yourself to find something you need it for. So long as it's clean, you can melt it down into drinking water. If you need to keep something cold and don't have access to any immediate refrigeration, there's that, too.

It can be eaten, and the hide and scales have use. The teeth as well, likely.

It is not particularly impressive looking at the moment, but if you are curious, there is a better view of it in an earlier post.
