State of the Soap!
It's cut. It's been drying for like a week but it's still pretty soft. This could be due to the lack of a large percentage of 'hard' oils in it. But it will eventually harden up. You don't want to use it til it's evaporated most of the water, otherwise it'll melt away too quickly. But anyhow, it smells great! *s* -
Long distance phone service
Ugh. Well, after not using my land line for years to dial a long distance number, in the past two months, we did so, and I was appalled at the bill! It seems that the carrier I used to have went under and MCI picked my account up, without my knowledge. Believe me, it was outrageous. So I did a little research into the available carriers. Dang it! LJ changed my local time on me... I fixed it and then I lost the subsequent entry. What a pain!

I DID IT!!!
*heehee* I made soap! For the first time in almost a year. So, it's a 3 oil soap with lavender EO for the scent, and I made it purple, of course! *G* Now I have to dash off to the shower and get ready 'cos we're going out for dinner!!! -
Okay, WTF?
My main post for today has a time stamp of after two PM... I did it around 10:30 AM.... then I tried to post again and I got an error saying I should backdate the entry 'cos it's registering before my previous one. I didn't do anything to the stupid clock here. I pushed the clock up so the thing would post... I wonder what will happen with this ( Read more... ) -
Gas prices
Whoa, I saw regular for $2.12 a gallon. I wonder how low it will go? Also, not gas prices, but I saw an unfortunate deer that had met its demise, lying on the grassy median in the middle of Roosevelt Blvd, pretty far north. I didn't think there was enough wooded area there to sustain deer. Poor thing.
