Whoa, I saw regular for $2.12 a gallon. I wonder how low it will go? Also, not gas prices, but I saw an unfortunate deer that had met its demise, lying on the grassy median in the middle of Roosevelt Blvd, pretty far north. I didn't think there was enough wooded area there to sustain deer. Poor thing.

Your friendly reporter on gas prices (me) is back... I got gas for $2.29 on Friday afternoon, then this morning I saw the same place had it for $2.27, and the place right next to work has it for $2.25!!!! I must say, I like this trend!

Okay... I never thought I'd live to see this, but I've seen gas prices in the city up to $3.29 (regular!). I was going to marvel about the $3.01 a gallon I saw yesterday on the way home, but then this morning... YIKES!!! It's just mind boggling. Ha. I was getting a bit low on gas, so on the way to work I checked the gas stations near me. There are seven along Rte 1 all within a block of each other, and usually they have the lowest prices around, since there's that much competition.
