Tiff and I are going to see it tomorrow afternoon. We've read all the books and *really* liked them. So I'm hoping I'll see the movie and like it just as much as I liked the book. But that so rarely happens... I'm afraid I'm going to go in and see it and think it's horrible 'cause it doesn't fit my version of the books at all. I'll let ya know what I think tomorrow!

I think the books are well written and easy to read. I like the story a lot.. just remember that the main character is only 16 years old... sometimes, you may want to throttle her, but that's really not a fault of the writing. Although, I often wanted to throttle Edward, too, and he's 117. ;)

Tiff, Tiff's Mom, and I all went to see the movie together this afternoon. I thought the movie was ok. I'm happy that it captured some of the tension of the main characters that formed so much of the book's plot. But I think I'll like the movie better the next time I see it 'cause I'll be able to turn my mind off of book/movie comparison mode. We were all a-twitter and girly when we walked out of the movie theatre, so obviously they did something right with the male casting, at least. :)

The goal is for my friend and i to read the book and then go watch the movie together... I am resisting opening the book though because apparently, I will get none of my papers done if I even crack the spine! I do tend to get absorbed... I'm surprised I haven't been in a car accident yet, I tend to read and walk and forget all about stopping at corners...

I finally caught a glimpse of the male casting - YUM!!!

I am looking for an exceptionally yummy, can't-let-go-of-it book to read. But of course, I cannot open it until after *my* finals 'cause of the same reason you just gave for avoiding opening Twilight. I'll just let you know that you should acquire the other three in the series, 'cause once I started on 'em I didn't stop until I was done with the whole lot. :)

Anyone have any reading recommendations for me for after the 12th of December?
